Bacon and Blue Cheese Tarts

Ingredients

  • 1 Sheet Puff Pastry, Thawed
  • 1/2 Cup Crumbled bacon
  • 4 Oz Cream Cheese, Softened
  • 1/2 Cup Blu Cheese Crumbles
  • 1/2 Yellow Onion, thinly Sliced
  • 4 Tbsp Butter
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive Oil

Method-

Sautee the onion in butter over medium heat and season with salt and pepper. Stir often and remove when golden brown. Set aside

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and brush on olive oil. Slice the puff pastry in half to create two long rectangles, place on the parchment. Top with cream cheese, leaving a 1/2 inch boarder around the outside of the dough. Top with the onions, bacon and half the blue cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Remove from the oven and top with remaining blue cheese and serve!

Serve with tortillas and enjoy!
