Italian Stuffed Meatloaf – Meatloaf Braciole

Ingredients

  • 1 Pound Ground Beef
  • 1/2 Pound Ground Pork
  • 1 Small Yellow Onion, Diced Small
  • 4 Cloves of Garlic, Minced
  • 1/4 Cup Grated Parm
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 Cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Basil
  • 1/2 Tbsp Oregano
  • 6 Slices Provolone Cheese
  • 6 oz Proscuitto
  • About 2 Cups Fresh Baby Spinach

Method-

Combine the meats, onion, garlic, egg, bread crumbs and spices until well combined. Spread out the meat mixture over parchment paper or plastic wrap and press into a large rectangle, about 12×18 inches. On the bottom half of the wide side, arrange the cheese, prosciutto and spinach. Use the edge of the paper or plastic to help roll a tight spiral roll. Place the bottom of the roll in a large baking pan and bake for about 30 minutes at 325 degrees. Remove from the oven and allow to rest for a couple of minutes before slicing into 1 inch portions.
