Philly Cheese Steak Foil Dinner
Ingredients
For 4 packets
- 1 Pound Shaved Steak (Frozen works too, just have to thaw it out)
- 2 Green Peppers, Thinly Sliced
- 1 Large Yellow Onion, Thinly Sliced
- 1 Cup Steak Marinade
- 4 Tbsp Butter, Divided
- 2 Tsp Steak Seasoning
- 8 Slices Provelone
- 4 Steak Rolls
- Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil
Method-
Marinate the steak in a freezer bag and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Take 4 large squares of tin foil and divide the beef amongst the squares evenly in the center of the squares but spread out to the size of the rolls you are using.Top with peppers and onions, 1/2 tsp each of the steak seasoning and butter. Wrap the packets fairly tightly and place over your campfire. Using a grate to get the packets above the fire works best.
After about 30 minutes, open up the packets and make sure the meat is fully cooked and the peppers and onions are tender. Top each with two slices of provolone and melt. Toast the buns and add the cheese steak. Serve and enjoy!
